| WFF Hope Our first angora goat kid! We called her Hope in hopes that she is the first in a long line of quality healthy angora goat kids. Born June 8, 2006 Registered # 9723BD, Black, Single Dam is Violet, a registered black doe, Twin, from Willow Creek Farm in Roy, Washington Sire: Peter, CAGBA registered black buck, Single, from Cloudspun in Eugene, Oregon. Pedigree Progeny '08 - Belta, Single Black w/ White Nigora (Nigerian Dwarf/Angora), Sire: William '10 - Jan. 30, Single Black w/ White Foot Doe, Sire: Contender '11- Jan. 7, Twins, Fading Red Doe, White Buck, Sire: To be determined, prob. Rowan She has proven to be our best goat to date!! She had a gorgeous pure black fiber the first two shearings that is a dream to work with! This year, 2011, she still has a gorgeous soft lustrous yearling quality fiber, which is now a nice grey colored. Still a dream. Her weaknesses would be that she does change some in the neck area and she is one of my wilder does. But, just like her dam who is now one of my tamest does, she is taming down nicely as she ages. |
